Treasure From The Sea, Sea Moss


By now I’m sure you know, or have some sort inclination about sea moss, or perhaps you haven’t. Well, let me tell you all about it and my personal experience with this God given treasure from the sea, AMAZING!!

Dr. Sebi philosophy. It contains 92 of the 102 minerals the human body consist of, that fact alone sold me on adding this to my daily nutrition. The hype is real ya’ll I’ve been taking sea moss consistently over the past two months and the results have been;

  • weight loss
  • reduced appetite
  • energy
  • glowing skin
  • regular bowel movements

Listen to me when I say consistency is key you will see and reap the benefits when you consistently take sea moss. Healing takes time and adding anything new into your daily regimen has to take its place in your body, that takes time. however, sea moss is one of those nutrients that starts to take effect immediately! Well, at least for me it has but again consistency is key. These days you don’t have to look too far to find this liquid gold its readily available for you at the tap of your fingers, but be aware that there are counterfeit sea moss out there.

Two Types

There are three types of sea moss out there, but I’ll just focus on these two Chondus Crispus and Genus Gracilaria. Ive learned recently that “Irish Sea moss” is more-so a type of seaweed rather than sea moss and the look of Irish Sea moss is very distinct from sea moss that is cultivated from the Caribbean. Irish Sea moss grows along the rocky parts of the Atlantic coast of Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, the British Isles and parts of North American coast. Sea moss that is cultivated from the Caribbean coast look different and has that golden and brown hue color that makes for a liquid gold like gel.

I like to use Irish Sea moss in powdered form to add to my savory cooking. The benefits of them both are just about equal, however the taste of Irish Sea moss is way more sea tasting than the sea moss that grows in warmer Caribbean waters. Nevertheless they are both beneficial and it just boils down to choice.
