Bonita’s Honey Whipped Berry Ricotta Toast

Fresh blackberries, paired with honey whipped ricotta? Why sure!

Berry Good

This simple and satisfying toast, will be the toast of any breakfast or brunch. My love for this classic throwback is infinite.

Berry Competition

I created this toast for a competition over two years ago. Driscoll berries and the feed feed, ran a competition to see what creatives can come up with using berries. The recipe had to be tasty and the photo even better.

It’s safe to say I nailed them both! I didn’t win that competition, but my recipe was a hit! And that my friends is a win, win!

You will have this whipped up in no time! Pun intended.

List Of Ingredients

  • Slice of bread, like challah or brioche
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Honey
  • Blackeberries
  • Piping bag
  • Fresh basil

I love challah bread it’s a very light, yet sturdy bread. It pairs well with the ricotta and berries so much. If you can’t find challah bread use any bread you like. No worries here.

Let’s Make It Pretty

First, with a 1/2 cup of ricotta, add 2 tablespoons of my delicious honey , or any honey you have. Next, whip together for three minutes until light and fluffy.

Add ricotta mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large round Wilton tip. Feel free to spread the ricotta if you don’t have a piping bag. Toast your bread, pipe or spread ricotta, stud with blackberries, and garnish with basil and a drizzle of honey.

Easiest and cutest recipe ever!
