Dreamsicle Delight

This smoothie gave me all the feels once I took the first sip! It reminded me of growing up in my hometown New Orleans, eating hucka-bucks, or frozen cups as some may call it.

If you were to go to a local New Orleans neighborhood that hasn’t been gentrified to obliteration. You may just find a lady or gentleman selling frozen cups.

The backstory is there’s a flavor that was by far one of my favorite flavors, it was called Dreamsicle. It had a creamy, orange-y, cantaloupe-y flavor and my friends this smoothie helped bring back those tasty memories in a healthy way.

Also this smoothie is totally vegan, completely nutritious, and delicious. Finally, the best part is there’s only 5 ingredients! Orange, cantaloupe , unsweetened coconut milk, date nectar and ice.

Feel free to use whatever blender you may have a nutribulletor any blender works well.

Let’s jump right into this simply delicious smoothie recipe.

  • It’s definitely summer time ☀️ And this fall salad can work in any season really. You can Summer-rize (see what I did there?!), this salad by switching out the squash for cubed watermelon and replacing the Brussels sprouts with shredded cabbage. Either way you choose always make it pretty ♥️ #tbt
